Thank you again to our lovely customer, for this fabulous Lobster Thermidor recipe for 2. Delicious at anytime of the year but especially during the Christmas and New Year celebrations, with a glass of fizz!
For over 35 years we have been providing a wide range of high class, sustainable sourced fish, seafood, wild game and poultry throughout Yorkshire, both door to door and via our well-established shop in Holmfirth.
Edric Bowden being a fan of good quality fish would return from Fleetwood Docks with fresh fish and seafood for his family to enjoy. The quality of what he came back with was just outstanding, especially in comparison to any other fish they had experienced and soon Edric had regular orders from friends and neighbours whenever he visited the Docks. Recognising a great business opportunity when he saw it, Holmfirth Fresh Fish was born in 1984!
The business was an instant success and the family found themselves soon thereafter buying a fleet of vans and employing more staff to meet the demands. Several years later the shop was established off New Mill Road, Holmfirth giving customers the opportunity to purchase their produce over the counter as well as door to door.
This delicious seabass recipe is a favourite of one of our customers – thanks Lin! Lin recommends serving with Jersey Royals when in season, asparagus and roasted cherry tomatoes – roasted until they start to burst to create a bit of a sauce for the fish!
Try something different on a warm sunny day and impress your friends and family with barbecued seabass!
